Duke Duchscherer
Duke Duchscherer is a Certified Trainer with the International Center for Nonviolent Communication who has utilized the last nine years intensively learning, living and teaching nonviolence, especially Nonviolent Communication (NVC). Duke’s training and experience reflects a growing level of capability integrating NVC in areas of peacebuilding, conflict transformation, trauma healing, restorative processes and reconciliation. This experience is reflected in his work with a depth and breadth of peoples and groups from the grassroots to the United Nations on four continents, including UNHCR; Church World Service Pakistan/Afghanistan; State Welfare Organization Islamic Republic of Iran; Conflict Resolution Program, Uyo University, Nigeria; psychosocial healing and peacebuilding NGOs in Sri Lanka. Duke has a deep passion to find ways to (re)build relationships that acknowledges shared interdependence while affirming the unique strength and beauty in each person/group.
