Yahoda is a Rochester native and has been volunteering at the Institute since 2012. He has been working through the partner corporation Seedfolk City Farm for over two years, has been a landscaper for the Gandhi Institute’s garden for four years, as well as a six-year participant in the Grow Southwest Program. Yahoda is one of the Restorative Educators at the Gandhi Institute and has been working in urban schools for the past two years. Yahoda is also the Garden Manager at the Institute and plans to attend MCC spring semester 2018 to become certified in agriculture and food studies. Yahoda has his basic certification in AVP and plans to go on to further that as well.
