Brendon Fleming was born in Geneva, N.Y. and grew up in the Rochester area. He is a graduate of Syracuse University and Columbia Law School. After working in New York and Washington, D.C., Brendon returned home to Rochester in 2014.

Brendon is an associate attorney with Ward Greenberg Heller & Reidy LLP in Rochester. As an attorney, Brendon has performed pro bono work in civil rights, voting rights, immigration, and family law. That work has fostered his commitment to advocating for underserved communities and problem solving approaches that address the root causes of violence, poverty, and suffering. Brendon’s travels to South Africa and India also inspired his dedication to nonviolent solutions to community problems. Among his heroes are the three M’s: MK Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, and Martin Luther King Jr.

Brendon and his wife Ruth are the proud parents of a beautiful baby girl.
